  We absolutely love this place! The people are personable. The first time we visited. It was family owned and I believe it is still family owned, but a different family. Even then we have come back multiple times because the food is delicious! The marinara sauce taste home made with finess! It is delicious! One of the many reasons we come a lot.  
  
  When we first visited and even now our server is this young man name Dennis! He greets us everytime we come in and we request for him to be our server just because we remember the first time we visited he made us feel like family. When we come in we ask for him because he always gives us excellent.  The food here is amazing and we've tried a lot of it. Just to name a few I love the shrimp scampi, it's light and yet so delicious! The salmon and the creaminess of the salmon was delicious along with mashed potatoes and asparagus is one of my many favorite. We have come back multiple times because the food is consistently amazing and the service is amazing.

  So glad there was an Italian restaurant in Duluth that wasn't an Olive Garden! I mean, I will chow down on those endless salads and bread sticks, but we were celebrating and I wanted to take my Mom somewhere more authentic. We found ROMA via Yelp. Overall the food was very good and I liked that we could make a reservation so easily through Yelp as well.
  
  Now for the food. Highlights:
  - Alfredo with shrimp was SO GOOD. They were not playing with the shrimp. The shrimp was big, meaty, perfectly seasoned and grilled. I was a little nervous ordering it because not all places does seafood well. The alfredo was very creamy and did not taste like it was out of a can.
  - Eggplant parm was also really good. They did a great job squeezing all the water out. Very tasty
  
  Lowlights:
  - Overall the red sauce is super sweet. We don't usually put sugar in our sauce at home so it def was hard for us to enjoy after a few bites. This affected us from enjoying the angel hair pasta that came with the Eggplant and the lasagna.
  - The garlic rolls are meh. I was hoping for something more doughy and buttery.
  - We also got calamari and they were thin pieces. I don't think it was worth the price.
  
  The team definitely won us over. They were very accommodating and our server was really awesome. Food came out in a good time and they also refilled our drinks in a timely manner.
  
  I will definitely come back.

  Very friendly hostess and a very friendly server.  They appreciate your business and it shows.  
  
  I've had this place bookmarked for a couple of years but don't eat a lot of Italian.  I offered to take my mother out to lunch today and her request was Italian so I immediately thought of this place.
  
  Your lunch comes with a couple of garlic rolls and tomato sauce.  The rolls were just ok and the sauce was just room temperature.  
  
  I had the Linguini with White Clam Sauce and there were lots of clams.  I put a lot of crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese on mine and it made it very good.  
  
  My mom said that the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich that she had was very good.
  
  I wish that the meal would have come with a small salad.  I guess you could say that it was only $13 for my entree, but, I think that the salad would have really helped considerably.

  It's a pretty good Italian place. The service is amazing. It's very well decorated inside. There's also a nice outdoor seating area. The day I went to temperature was perfect so I sat outside. They give you fresh bread, complementary. I've had better bread but it was pretty good and the marinara sauce was hot and delicious. I got a glass of wine which is good. I also ordered the penny alla vodka with some blackened chicken and I found that to be delicious. Good portions definitely. Worth the price. I also got the tiramisu, one of my favorite desserts. They do make it really well here and I enjoyed it. Overall, four stars. They have a private parking lot as well. It's a great place for family, kids, groups, dates. They serve lots of different things and I posted some pictures of the menu

  The service and side dishes were great. The floor is tile, so it is very loud, especially  since the music is loud, too. I had the fettuccine alfredo with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were good, except I have no idea how restaurants expect you to de-tail shrimp when they are in the middle of a creme sauce. Speaking of which, the cause was like water and had almost no taste. Overall, just average.
